As a believer, pray from the knowledge and revelation that you are already forgiven by God's grace. You are translated into the kingdom of God. You are already blessed! You are blessed with the blessings and promises of God through your Saviour Jesus Christ. God loves you and desires for you to come boldly to His throne of grace, that you can receive mercy and grace in your time of need.
Pray in the name of Jesus, John 14:14, "Ask anything in my name and I will do it. You have been given authority to use the name of Jesus.
Pray according to His Word, in agreement with His Word. 1 John 5:14, 15, "And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: (we are sure) that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan, He listens to and hears us. And if since we positively know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know with settled and absolute knowledge that we have granted us as our present possessions the request made of Him".
Faith is in you, as a believer you have faith. Rom. 12:3, " For I say through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith". Do not declare out of your mouth you don't have faith. God has planted faith in your heart.
Move mountains with your faith. Mark 11:23,24, begin to say to your mountain be thou removed. Say boldly what you believe and see God begin to move your mountain.
Forgiveness is a key to powerful prayer. Mark 11:25 says we are to forgiven if we want our prayers answered. Forgiveness is given by faith, because we act on the directive of the Lord himself.
Patience is a powerful virtue in our lives. Heb. 6:12-15, it says Abraham patiently endured and received the promises of God. He waited 25 years for the promise of Isaac, the promised baby. We are strong when we factor in patience.
The Holy Spirit is your teacher, guide, revealer, and comforter. Allow the Holy Spirit to direct your prayers, thoughts, and meditations. He has a perfect plan for you. Let His sweet presence fill you and strengthen you.
God bless you in your fasting time.
It talks about this in Malachi 3:10, which reads "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that there hall not be room enough to receive it".
God has desired to bless us and He does with jobs, health (to work), an opportunities, and He wants to continue to bless us and increase us. He also wants us to be a part of the Kingdom of God. He wants us to participate in the provision that He has made for us, by giving back to God the tithe (the 10%) of our earnings or increase. This is offered to God by faith and worship, given to the church, to help in the promotion of the gospel and for the increase and provision of the church ( house of God).
God has declared He will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and He shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord. Malachi 3:11. Satan is the destroyer and must be resisted and rebuked even in the area of finances. Get in agreement with God and His Word that as a tither you are blessed and that you live under an open heaven and that the devourer, Satan, has been rebuked. God wants you to prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. 3 John 2
Renewing our minds to what the Word of God declares belongs to us as a believer is absolutely imperative for us, to enforce and maintain what is our supernatural inheritance.
If you have not become a tither, let me encourage you to read, study the Word of God, and decide for yourself whether it is God"s will for you to tithe.
Our Father wants us to prosper and live with an Open Heaven above us. He has stated it in Malachi 3:10, "Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
This scripture lets us know that God has prepared a plan for us to enter into His supernatural provision for us. We can create an image on the inside of us of prosperity. This image has to be formed from the Word of God, which describes God's will for us when it comes to the topic of prosperity.
Satan, our arch enemy, comes in so many different ways to try to blame God when there is a financial problem. The Word declares in Third John 2, " Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers." God desires for us to have finances that meets our needs and more than enough so that we may tithe and give offerings and promote the Kingdom of God.
Back to the plan of God, Malachi has encouraged the believers to give their 10% and to see the results, which will be living with an open heaven above you and the blessings of God coming down. Praise God for His wonderful plan for our lives.
If you are like Pastor Norman and I we had to see it in the Word and make a quality decision that it was God's will for us to tithe and then plan to tithe even when it didn't look like we could. God began to prove His Word to us, and we have never stopped tithing and its been 44 years. God has been faithful and true to His Word. He may not have settled up each Friday (on pay day), but He came through in our lives.
Have you made that quality decision? If you have then continue to expect God to keep the Windows of Heaven Open for you.
AUGUST 6, 2011
Governor Rick Perry asked pastors and leaders to rally the churches and believers to pray on August 6 for our nation and leaders.
Many across our country are praying and fasting, and seeking God earnestly for a move of God and for God's intervention in our problems that face our nation.
2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
James 5:16 Amp., The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of righteous man makes tremendous power available dynamic in its working.
Luke 18:1 Amp., Also Jesus told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward faint, lose heart, and give up.
The Holy Spirit has promised to help us, and guide us in prayer. Romans 8:26,27, Amp. So too the Holy Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the Holy Spirit what His intent is, because the Spirit intercedes and pleads before God in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's will.
Let us prayer together about these:
1. Our president, leaders, Congressmen and women, Senators. 1 Timothy 2:1-3
2. The pastors and leaders and ministers that lead and influence the people of God. Hebrews 13:17, 19
3. The states and governors and leaders of each state.
4. The economic crisis that is in our nation.
5. Jobs.
6. Our TFC church and Pastors
7. Our schools and teachers, and our children and their protection and safely.
8. For revival and awakening to the nation.
9. For souls of men and women, and our children, and teens, and young adults,
to be genuinely saved and delivered from sin and the powers of darkness.
We will begin praying at 8:00 a.m. and continue until 5:00 p.m.. The church will be open and there will be someone here to host and facilitate the meeting. You are encouraged to spend as much time as you can, but you are free to come and go as you need.
If we want to increase our faith power and have the added benefits of peace of mind and the blessings of God on our life then forgiveness is the answer.
Everyone has experienced hurt, offence, betrayal by a friend or family member, prejudice, conflict, or physical or mental abuse. God knew we would need clear direction and the ability to access God's free grace to accomplish this in our lives.
The story in Matthew 18:23-35 gives us a vivid picture, a king brought his servants in to give account of their work, the young man owed a very large debt to the king, about $10,000,000; the king was going to sale him and his wife and children and payment to be made. The man fell down and worshipped the king and said have patience with me and I will pay you all. The king had compassion and forgave him the whole debt. Amazing.
The man went out immediately and found a fellow worker that owed him $20.00 and ask him to pay him what was owed. The man didn't have the money so he had him put in prison until he could pay what was owed. The other workers found out and told the king. He called the forgiven man and told him he was a wicked servant. I forgave you your great debt but you want forgive this man his small debt.
The king delivered the man to the tormentors until all his past debt could be paid.
The conclusion of the story is in verse 35, if we do not forgive others then God the Father will not be able to forgive us. The tormentors, the enemy of our soul has access through this open door in our lives to afflict us in many ways. If we choose to forgive others, and have compassion instead of trying to hold a grudge, or retaliate, then God's peace and power will be available to us. 1 Peter 3:9
God gives us the grace and strength to forgive but we have to make the decision.
